Colby has spent his life involved in the arts, whether it be music, photography, film or writing. As a musician he has been featured with his band Seagoat in various publications, such as Buzzbands and Magnetic Magazine. He studied writing and English Literature at UCLA where he earned a Bachelor of Arts. While at UCLA he won the David Sedaris Humor Award for his writing.
